From 31 August to 17 October 2016, the Fondation Louis Vuitton will be between exhibitions.

 

During this period, the Fondation's main galleries will be closed.

 

However, for a special price of €9, €4 for concessions and €20 for families, you can still enjoy:

- The Fondation's terraces, where you can discover the “Observatory of Light” installation by Daniel Buren

- The work of artist Olafur Eliasson in the Grotto

- The permanent exhibition: “Frank Gehry, The Fondation Louis Vuitton”, where you can discover the building’s architectural plans

- Mini tours every 30 minutes on themes connected to the Fondation’s architecture

- The “Le Frank” restaurant, the Bookshop and the Jardin d’Acclimatation

Transport

By metro: Line  to Les Sablons

Take the Fondation Louis Vuitton exit.

The Fondation is a 10-15 minute walk from the metro station.

By bus:

Line to Fondation Louis Vuitton bus stop.

Stops weekends only.

From Monday to Friday, the nearest stop is Jardin d'acclimatation.

Public transport

By car:

In front of the Fondation entrance, there is a one-minute drop-off area and two registered disabled parking spaces for people with reduced mobility.

Public parking at Porte Maillot.

By Autolib' (car sharing):

There is a car sharing station located in front of the Fondation entrance - Avenue du Mahatma Gandhi.

Fondation's shuttles

By the Fondation shuttle, €1:

Departs Place Charles de Gaulle, on the corner of Avenue de Friedland, near the metro exit.

Shuttles depart every 15 minutes during the Fondation’s opening hours, with the last shuttle leaving the Fondation 7 minutes after closing (no shuttles run on Tuesdays, when the Fondation is closed).

Free entry and priority is given to disabled visitors and the person accompanying them. Priority is also given at the ticket window and entrances to visitors who are unable to remain standing for extended periods of time.

As large crowds are likely to be experienced during its opening, the Fondation offers solutions adapted to each person's needs.
