LATE HOURS

BEING MODERN #2

FRIDAY 1 DECEMBER 2017, 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

On the first Friday of every month, the Fondation offers Late Hours, a chance to see and experience building, along with the works and exhibitions it houses, in a new way. These festive and adventurous evenings centred on the exhibition "Being modern: MoMA in Paris" celebrate American art and culture. At this second Late Hours, the Pop Art movement is in the spotlight: silkscreens, icons, garage rock – relive the atmosphere of The Factory for a night.

Le Villejuif Underground is a collaborative project producing music with shades of garage rock, pop, country and disco. These eclectic, inspired sounds germinate in the mind of Australian-born Nathan Roche and three Frenchmen from Villejuif. In a pulsing live concert at the Foundation, they pull us inexorably back to the uninhibited ambiance of The Factory.
