“Alexandre is Liszt reincarnated. I’ve never heard anyone play these pieces, let alone play the piano the way he does” Jerry Dubins, Fanfare Magazine January/February 2016

"Alexandre has already reached the stars" Olivier Bellamy, Huffington Post

"A star is born!"  – Alain Cochard, Concert Classic

Whether on CD or in concert, Alexandre Kantorow knows how to spark rave reviews. The young pianist began performing at a very early age. At 16 he was invited to play with the Sinfonia Varsovia at the Folle Journée festivals in Nantes and Warsaw, and he has since appeared with many different orchestras such as the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra with Augustin Dumay, the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, the ONPL, the Philharmonique Royal de Liège, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra and others.

In 2015 he took part in the opening season of the Philharmonie de Paris with the Pasdeloup Orchestra, who invited him back in 2017 for a concert at the Salle Gaveau.

As a chamber music enthusiast, his most recent concerts have seen him performing with the Talich quartet and with Roland Pidoux.

The future will see him recording concertos by Saint-Saëns, as well as the release of the programme from his Parisian recital at the Fondation Vuitton in April 2016, all produced by BIS. He also has several concerts planned for Finland, South America, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and has planned a return to the Fondation Vuitton.

Alexandre is a Safran Foundation prizewinner.
