Holidays at the Fondation

During the school holidays, the Fondation opens its doors at 9 a.m. everyday to families with relaxation and conviviality area at the Auditorium, specially set up for the occasion.
Before or after visiting the exhibitions, visitors are invited to take some time out over a coffee or a quick lunch break in the Auditorium, at La Cantine du marché. The space is designed for families and is open all day. It offers a selection of children’s books and colouring books based on art exhibitions. Families can enjoy dedicated short-tours of the exhibitions with our guide as well as craft workshops.

Our guides take families to explore the galleries, with a special notebook created for the exhibitions.

Interactive games
Try the Fondation's games "Apprentrice Architect" and "Lucky Vibes" that are available in free access in the Auditorium.

A space for consulting a selection of children's albums around the exhibitions is available.

Workshop "Stamps of my emotions"
Like Joan Mitchell, associate a color or a shape with a word and illustrate them with original stamps. Then leave with your own creation!

Documentary
Everyday in the Auditorium, discover the documentary "Joan Mitchell. Une femme dans l'abstraction" co-produced with Arte.

La Cantine du Marché
The Cantine du marché offers a range of autumn flavored food and beverages. Sandwich, seasonal vegetable soups, homemade pastries accompanied by an artisanal coffee or a chai latte, everything is there for a sweet break!
