Dan Flavin constructed luminescent compositions from standard fluorescent tubes. 

From the 1970s, Flavin’s works became more complex in their structure and colours. A very sensual chromatic combination, Untitled (for you, Leo, in long respect and affection) 1, seems to prevent access to the corner, while emitting an enveloping glow.
