Tours and visits

Learn how to look closely, focus on a detail, a perspective. Standing before the works in the Fondation galleries, explore the ways David Hockney’s lines and brushstrokes change as he moves from place to place. From California to Arizona, from Yorkshire to Normandy, wander from one landscape to the next and, using your pencils and brushes, create your own illustrated travel journal.

Discover the colourful world of David Hockney in small groups, assisted by Cultural Guides! This workshop is designed for teenagers, giving them the keys to a deeper understanding of the artist’s techniques and perspective. Teens will experiment with fragmentation of the image and reinterpret it through a collective fresco.
