PREAMBLE
These general terms of sale apply between:
La Fondation d’Entreprise Louis Vuitton, having its registered office at 8 avenue du Mahatma Gandhi, 75116 Paris, identified under company ID [SIREN] number 494 685 761 (hereinafter “the Foundation”).

Any individual or legal entity making a purchase (hereinafter the "Purchaser") from the Foundation’s ticket office, or general admission ticket machines, and on the website www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr.
These general terms of sale are intended to set out the terms and conditions for on-site and distance sales between the Foundation and the Purchaser, applicable to the Order, payment and delivery of individual general admission tickets, tickets for specific events (Live micro-visits, concerts, shows, family festival, individual visits, educational workshops, etc.), group tickets, and memberships (FLV Pass, Young Pass, Family Pass, Collector).
Definitions:
"Order" refers to any order by the Purchaser of one or more Products at the Foundation’s ticket office, general admission ticket machines, and on the Foundation’s website www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr.
“Product” refers to general admission tickets to the Foundation, tickets for specific events (LIVE micro-visits, concerts, shows, family festival, individual visits, educational workshops, etc.), group visits and memberships (FLV Pass, Young Pass, Family Pass, Collector).
The Products sold by the Foundation provide access to the Foundation's museum as well as the Jardin acclimation. The Foundation does not offer tickets that provide access only to the Foundation's museum.
Information regarding all the Products is available on the Foundation’s website.
"GTS": refers to these general terms of sale for the on-site or online sale of Products, which are applicable to the placing and tracking of Orders. By placing an order, the Purchaser agrees to comply with these GTS.
Before placing an Order on the Website, the Purchaser must firstly read these GTS, then confirm their agreement to all the GTS by performing the acceptance confirmation action required on the website by ticking a box.
In accordance with the provisions of article 1127-1 of the French Civil Code, these GTS may be retained by any person visiting the website by computer record and may be reproduced by the Purchaser by printing them.
The Purchaser declares that they are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity, or have received parental consent, to place an on-site or online Order for Foundation Products.

SECTION 1: SALE OF INDIVIDUAL AND SPECIFIC EVENT TICKETS
Article 1: Sale of general admission and specific event tickets
1.1 - Scope of application of section 1
Section 1 of these GTS applies to the sale of individual general admission and specific event tickets purchased from the ticket office, general admission ticket machines and/or the Foundation’s website.
1.2 – Terms and conditions of sale of individual general admission and specific event tickets
1.2.1 - General admission tickets to the Foundation
Orders are placed:
Online on the Foundation's website at the address: www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr.
General admission tickets may be ordered online only by time slots.
Sales are processed within the limit of the number of tickets allocated to a time slot.
By clicking on the button “Order with payment obligation”, the Purchaser must, after having read these GTC, tick the box “I have read, and I accept these General Terms of Sale”. By validating the payment, the Purchaser will therefore be considered to have accepted these GTC, and that their order involves a payment obligation.
Once the Purchaser has validated their order, the Foundation shall confirm receipt thereof without delay (unless justified) and by electronic means in accordance with article 1127-2 of the French Civil Code.
If the Purchaser does not receive confirmation of the acceptance or rejection of their Order by e-mail within a period of one day, they must contact the Foundation by telephone on 01 40 69 96 00.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), Purchasers are not entitled to cancel an Order.
From the Foundation’s general admission ticket office and ticket machines.
General admission tickets are on sale in the Foundation’s general admission ticket office and ticket machines from when the Foundation opens until half an hour before it closes.
When receiving the general admission tickets, the Purchaser should check that they match the Order.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L. 221-28, 12 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), Purchasers are not entitled to cancel an Order.
1.2.2 – Specific events
Orders are placed:
Online on the Foundation website at the address: fondationlouisvuitton.fr
Sales of tickets for specific events (concerts, Family Festival, shows, individual visits, educational workshops, etc.) are processed within the limit of the number of tickets allocated to each event.
Orders for tickets for specific events may be placed from the date on which they go on sale given in the programme on the Foundation website. The dates on which they go on sale may be modified by the Foundation without prior notice.
By clicking on the button “Order with payment obligation”, the Purchaser must, after having read these GTC, tick the box “I have read, and I accept these General Terms of Sale”. By validating the payment, the Purchaser will therefore be considered to have accepted these GTC, and that their order involves a payment obligation.
Once the Purchaser has validated their order, the Foundation shall confirm receipt thereof without delay (unless justified) and by electronic means in accordance with article 1127-2 of the French Civil Code.

From the Foundation’s general admission ticket office and ticket machines.
Specific event tickets are on sale in the general admission ticket office and machines from when the Foundation opens until half an hour before it closes.
When receiving the tickets, the Purchaser should check that they match the Order.
Article 2: Price and payment
2.1 - Price of general admission and specific event tickets
The prices of general admission or specific event tickets (face value) are given in euros including tax. Tickets remain the property of the Foundation until full and final receipt of the price.

The Foundation reserves the right to modify the prices of general admission and specific event tickets at any time. However, any such modifications shall have no impact on the price of Orders that have already been placed. Any payment method not specified in these GTS shall be refused by the Foundation.
2.2 - Payment of general admission and specific event tickets
Purchases from the Foundation ticket office of one or more tickets require a one-off payment by bank card (Visa / Mastercard, Carte Bleue, American Express, JCB, Diners, CUP), by cheque (payable to Fondation Louis Vuitton with presentation of ID), or in cash.
Purchases from the Foundation general admission ticket machines are made only by bank card (Visa / Mastercard, Carte Bleue, American Express, JCB).
For purchases of tickets online, only payment by bank card (Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard, Carte Bleue, American Express, JCB, Alipay, Apple Pay) is authorised.
The Foundation's online sales platform uses the See Tickets solution and the Adyen secure payment service (https://www.ayden.com/) with PCI/DSS certification.
Confidential data (16-digit credit card number and expiry date) is encrypted when transmitted from the Foundation website to the Adyen payment platform and is not stored, it is simply processed directly by the payment service. The Foundation guarantees that the encryption methods and services used to secure transactions have been authorised or declared by the encryption manager, in accordance with current legislation.
Orders placed by post must be paid by cheque (payable to La Fondation Louis Vuitton) or by bank transfer.
The price of the Order is debited when the payment is approved.
SECTION 2: SALE OF GROUP VISITS
Article 2.1: Group visit bookings
2.1.1 - Scope of application of section 2
Section 2 of the GTS applies to sales of visits for groups of adults, young persons and students by post or from the ticket office after reservation on the Foundation website or by telephone on 01 40 69 96 00.
2.1.2 - Visit booking terms and conditions
Bookings are processed within the limit of the number of group visits allocated to dates on which group visits are offered.
Bookings are made:
Online at the Foundation's website at the address: www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr.
Adult/young person/student group visits are booked using the online form in the group section. Bookings are made online only by time slots for the days of the week mentioned in the booking form.
Payment is made prior to the visit or on-site on the day of the visit at the Foundation's ticket office upon presentation of the visit confirmation sent by post.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code (Code de la Consommation), Purchasers are not entitled to cancel an Order.
By telephone. Visits may be booked by telephone by contacting the call centre on 01 40 69 96 00. Payment is made prior to the visit or on-site on the day of the visit at the Foundation's ticket office upon presentation of the visit confirmation sent by post.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code (Code de la Consommation), Purchasers are not entitled to cancel an Order.
From the Foundation ticket office. Group visits are on sale from the Foundation ticket office from when the Foundation opens until half an hour before it closes.
Upon receiving the confirmation slip sent by post, the Purchaser should check that it matches the booking.
Article 2.2: Price and payment
2.2.1 - Group visit prices
The prices of group visits are given in euros including tax.
The price lists are appended to these terms.
The Foundation reserves the right to modify group visit prices at any time. However, any such modifications shall have no impact on the price of Orders that have already been placed. Any payment method not specified in these GTS shall be refused by the Foundation.
2.2.2 - Group visit payment
Group visits are paid for:
- prior to the visit by cheque or bank card
- on-site on the day of the visit at the Foundation's ticket office upon presentation of the visit confirmation sent by post.
Payment for group visits at the Foundation ticket office must be made by a one-off bank card payment (Visa/Mastercard, Carte Bleue, American Express, JCB), by cheque (payable to Fondation Louis Vuitton with presentation of ID), in cash or by transfer.
SECTION 3: SALE OF MEMBERSHIPS
Article 3.1: Membership orders
3.1.1 - Scope of section 3
Section 3 applies to the sale of the 3 membership schemes offered by the Foundation: “FLV Pass”, “Young Pass” and “Collector”. These membership schemes are ordered from the Foundation ticket office or website in the membership section.
3.1.2 - Terms and conditions for the sale of memberships Orders are placed:
Online on the Foundation website at the address: fondationlouisvuitton.fr.
Orders for memberships are placed using the online form in the membership section. Sales are processed within the limit of the number of memberships allocated.
Orders for memberships may be placed from the date on which they go on sale given in the programme on the Foundation Website. The dates on which they go on sale may be modified by the Foundation without prior notice.
By clicking on the button “Order with payment obligation”, the Purchaser must, after having read these GTC, tick the box “I have read, and I accept these General Terms of Sale”. By validating the payment, the Purchaser will therefore be considered to have accepted these GTC, and that their order involves a payment obligation.

Right to cancel an Order:
In accordance with the provisions of article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), Purchasers are entitled to cancel an Order without giving any reason within a period of fourteen days from entering into the contract of sale.
To exercise the right of cancellation, Purchasers must notify the Foundation using the contact information provided in the preamble to these GTS of their decision to cancel an Order by means of a clearly worded statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax, or e-mail). Purchasers have the option of using the cancellation form, but this is not mandatory. Click here to download the cancellation form.
In order to comply with the cancellation period, Purchasers must send their statement regarding the exercise of the right of cancellation before the expiry of the cancellation period.
Effects of cancellation:
If the Purchaser cancels an Order, the Foundation shall reimburse all payments received, including any eventual delivery fees for the subscription (excluding any additional costs incurred in the event the Purchaser selected a delivery method other than the least costly standard delivery method proposed by the Foundation) without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day the Foundation was informed of the Purchaser's decision to cancel an Order. The Foundation shall refund the Purchaser using the same payment method used by the Purchaser for the initial transaction unless the Purchaser expressly agrees to a different method. In any event, the Purchaser will not be charged any additional fees for the refund.
If the Purchaser wishes to use their subscription before the end of the cancellation period, they must make an express request to this effect on the Foundation website by e-mail to the following address “contact@fondationlouisvuitton.fr ” or by letter at the address provided in the preamble.
If the Purchaser exercises their right to cancel and they have started to use their subscription upon their express request before the end of the cancellation period, they must pay the Foundation an amount corresponding to the service provided until they informed the Foundation of the decision to cancel their order.
From the Foundation’s ticket office. Subscriptions are on sale from the Foundation’s ticket office from when the Foundation opens until half an hour before it closes.
Article 3.2: Price and payment
3.2.1 - Membership prices
Membership prices are given in euros including tax.
The price lists are appended to these GTS.
The Foundation reserves the right to modify the membership prices at any time. However, any such modifications shall have no impact on the price of Orders that have already been placed. Any payment method not specified in these GTS shall be refused by the Foundation.
3.2.2 - Membership scheme payment
Memberships purchased on the internet must be paid for using an online form in the membership section. Payments are made online by bank card (Visa/Mastercard, Carte Bleue, JCB, American Express). They may be made in one or more instalments using SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) electronic direct debit.
The Foundation's online sales platform uses the See Tickets solution and the Adyen secure payment service (https://www.ayden.com/) with PCI/DSS certification.

SECTION 4: PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL PRODUCTS
Article 4.1: Modification and cancellation
The Foundation reserves the right to modify its cultural programme if the conditions required to be able to propose it as scheduled have not all been met.
In case of cancellation of an event by the Foundation, except in an event of force majeure as defined in article 1218 of the French Civil Code, the face value of the ticket paid by the Purchaser to the Foundation shall be refunded to the interested party, within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the sending of the non-invalidated ticket to the Foundation by the Purchaser along with their bank details (full bank details or bank or American Express card number with its expiry date).
Insofar as possible, the Foundation agrees to report these cancellations or modifications of exhibitions and events to Purchasers either by reporting it on the website or by sending informative messages by e-mail to the address given at the time of purchase.
Article 4.2: Receipt of tickets or membership cards
4.2.1 - Receipt of tickets
In order to receive tickets at a preferential rate, the Purchaser must submit relevant proof.
Tickets are provided in the chosen form:
Printable by the Purchaser from their personal space once the payment of their online Order has been validated.
Print-at-home tickets are available at all times until the date of the event on the Foundation website. Print-at-home tickets allow the Purchaser to print the tickets purchased on a standard printer via the internet. Each ticket is supplied in the form of a PDF file. To be valid, the ticket must be printed in landscape mode (horizontal), without modifying the print size on a white sheet of A4 paper, blank on both sides. There is one ticket for each entry purchased.
The Foundation's print-at-home tickets have a unique bar code. The validity of the tickets is checked and recorded upon admission using barcode readers. It is impossible to be admitted several times with the same ticket. Reproduction of tickets is prohibited. Visitors will not be allowed to access the Foundation with a ticket that has been reproduced, copied or imitated.
The Foundation is not required to check the identity of the person presenting the print-at-home ticket in order to check that they are really the Purchaser of the ticket, nor to check the authenticity of the print-at-home ticket insofar as an imitation or copy cannot be definitively identified as such when checked upon admission to the event.
Digital (M-ticket) when they are downloaded in the form of an image, using a smartphone.
Issued from the Foundation’s ticket office or general admission ticket machines when they are purchased on-site.
Sent by post. Tickets will only be sent by post if the order has been placed at least fifteen (15) days before the date selected by the Purchaser.
When tickets are sent by standard post, the lump sum of €3.50 shall be billed per order in processing costs. Sending by registered letter (only in mainland France) shall be billed €7.50 per order (including processing costs).
For the purchase of LIVE Micro-visits, the Purchaser will receive a personalised confirmation from our partner My Tour Live prior to the visit containing the access link and instructions to follow.
To take full advantage of the LIVE Micro-visit, the Purchaser must be equipped with a good quality Internet connection (5 Mbps downstream minimum recommended) and use a compatible web browser on Mobile or PC (Chrome, Firefox or Safari).
4.2.2 – Receipt of membership cards
Members purchasing their membership online may download a temporary digital ticket until their definitive membership card is sent by post. Each card is supplied in the form of a PDF file. The cost of sending membership cards by post is included in the price of the chosen membership option.
To be valid, the digital membership card must be printed in landscape mode (horizontal), without modifying the print size on a white sheet of A4 paper, blank on both sides. There is one temporary digital ticket for each membership purchased.
Members who purchase their membership on-site shall be issued their membership card immediately.
4.3 – Terms of use of tickets or membership cards
Tickets and membership cards cannot be returned, refunded (including in case of the loss or theft of tickets), exchanged, or resold.
Any holder of a ticket or membership card purchased as part of a Foundation offer agrees, at the risk of potential legal action, not to use it for any promotional or commercial purposes whatsoever. In particular, except with specific permission from the Foundation, any sale, resale or exchange of tickets or membership cards is strictly prohibited at the risk of the penalties specified in the French Criminal Code.
Admission to the Foundation may be refused in the event of a failure to present relevant proof for tickets or membership cards at preferential rates.
4.4 – Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted in writing and sent to the Foundation at the following address: Direction des publics / Fondation Louis Vuitton / 8 Avenue du Mahatma Gandhi, 75116 Paris. For any time limits, the postmark shall be considered as legally binding.
Purchasers who benefit from special terms of admission to cultural events by the Foundation, pursuant to agreements between the Foundation and a partner (theatre, museum, transport company, etc.) cannot under any circumstances hold the Foundation liable for failures by the aforementioned partner to meet their obligations.
4.5 - Personal data on the Foundation website
The Foundation, acting as data controller, has created an electronic file listing certain personal data regarding the Purchaser (surname, first name, e-mail address) collected when creating their account. This information is necessary for the management of orders and monitoring of customer relationships, as well as for the organisation of commercial marketing operations (sending of newsletters, Product information, special offers and other marketing activities), subject to the Purchaser’s consent, where applicable.
The collected data is intended for the Foundation’s sales and marketing department and its eventual sub-processors.
The Purchaser’s data is deleted three years after the last transaction is registered with the account.
The Foundation has appointed a data protection officer who is at [Data Subjects’] disposal. In accordance with the French data protection law no.78-17 of 6th January 1978 as amended and the General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679/EU of 27th April 2016, the Purchaser has the right to access, rectify and delete all or part of their personal data. The Purchaser also has the right to object to processing on legitimate grounds, a right to limit processing, and to the portability of personal data, and the right to provide instructions for after their death. For processing based on consent, the Purchaser may withdraw their consent at any time. The Purchaser can exercise these rights upon simple request, accompanied by a copy of their ID by e-mail at the address dpo@fondationlouisvuitton.fr.
The Purchaser is informed that they also have the possibility of bringing a claim before the CNIL (The French National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties).
Furthermore, in accordance with article L.223-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Purchaser has the possibility of registering on a telemarketing Do-Not-Call list.
The Purchaser is invited to read the Foundation’s personal data protection policy, that can be accessed on the Website.
4.6 – Entirety of the contract
If any of these GTS are declared inapplicable for any reason whatsoever, this shall not affect the application of the other provisions of these GTS, with the provision deemed inapplicable being then replaced by a provision as similar as possible.
4.7 – Liability
Neither the Foundation nor the Purchaser shall be held liable for any non-performance due to an event of force majeure as defined by article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
Similarly, the Foundation shall not be liable for any use by a third party of the Products ordered and delivered to the Purchaser; the latter shall be solely responsible for the use of such Products.
4.8 – Applicable law – settlement of disputes
These General Terms of Sale are governed by French law.
In the event that a dispute should arise between the Foundation and the Purchaser in connection with the performance or interpretation of these GTS, the Purchaser shall be entitled, before any legal proceedings, to find an amicable solution and to contact the CMAP – Paris Mediation and Arbitration Centre, the consumer mediator for the Foundation.
To submit a dispute to the mediator, the Purchaser can fill in the form on the CMAP website: www.cmap.fr under the "you are: a consumer" tab, send their request by simple or registered letter to:

Regardless of the means used to contact the CMAP, the Purchaser’s request must contain the following elements to be processed promptly: their postal and e-mail address, telephone number and the full name and address of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, a brief statement of the facts, and proof of the steps taken by the Purchaser with the Fondation Louis Vuitton prior to referring the matter to the CMAP (It is specified that the Purchaser must provide proof of having attempted to directly resolve their dispute with the Foundation by written complaint (Cf. article 4.4).
The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution Platform for online contracts of sale or service between a consumer residing in the European Union and a professional established in the European Union. This platform can be accessed at the following address: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/.
The Purchaser must submit their request to the mediator within a period of one (1) year from their written complaint to the Foundation.
The mediation clause only applies when the user is acting as a non-professional. The use of mediation is an alternative mechanism which is not a precondition for legal action. The Purchaser remains free to initiate, accept or reject the use of mediation. In the event of mediation, the parties remain free to accept or reject the solution proposed by the mediator. In the event of failure, any dispute regarding the GTS and the Foundation and the Purchaser shall be brought before the competent French courts.
4.9 - Modification of the General Terms of sale
The Foundation reserves the right to adapt or modify these GTS at any time. In case of modification, the General Terms of Sale applicable on the date of the Order shall be applied to the Order.
