#FLVfromhome : Pierre Ducrozet - Eroica

This week, the Fondation offers you to discover a literary surprise, a reading of Eroica, the fictionalised biography of Basquiat, by its author Pierre Ducrozet on the occasion of the exhibition Jean-Michel Basquiat the 16 December 2016. Accompanied by a soundtrack by David Gonzàlez Cambray, Ducrozet gives a reading in front of works by the artist.

The artists

Pierre Ducrozet

Pierre Ducrozet was born in 1982 in Lyon. A novelist, literary chronicler and translator, he is the author of L’invention des corps (Actes Sud, 2017) and three novels published by Éditions Grasset: Requiem pour Lola rouge (2010, winner of the Prix de la Vocation), La vie qu’on voulait (2013) and Eroica (2015), a fictional biography of the painter Jean-Michel Basquiat, which has attracted a great deal of attention.

David González Cambray

Isard Cambray is the stage name of the pianist and electronic music producer David González Cambray. Cambray graduated from ESMUC, the Catalonia College of Music, and already has a rich career behind him. He has performed at more than 100 festivals and has collaborated on 20 albums.
