Jean-Michel Meurice, a painter at the forefront of the Supports/Surfaces movement starting in the early 1960s, has long been forging a vigorous body of work. He regularly uses his camera to capture the era and the issues of the day on film. His work on Simon Hantaï is part of this extensive creative journey.
