At the age of 25, having just won the prestigious First Prize at the Concours musical international de Montréal and the the Leeds International Piano Competition, Jaeden Izik-Dzurko is one of the most promising pianists of his generation.

Noted for his interpretive “intelligence and finesse” (Le Devoir), this musician has a warm, dazzling, feline style that he has been displaying in concertos performed with prestigious orchestras worldwide for three years. Mastering the expressive effusion of Slavic Romantic music, Mr Izik-Dzurko has chosen Medtner and Rachmaninoff for the first part of this recital, reserving the complete four Scherzos by Chopin, one of the Polish composer’s chefs-d’oeuvre, for after the intermission. An outstanding programme graced by the talent of this young artist who simply must be heard!
