Jennifer Allora & Guillermo Calzadilla

Respectively born in 1974 and 1971, in Philadelphie (United States of America) and La Havane (Cuba)

Live and work in Puerto Rico  (United States of America)

Living and working in Puerto Rico, a Caribbean island and unincorporated US territory, Jennifer Allora and Guillermo Calzadilla examine local political and ecological situations from a universal perspective.

Interested in the relationship between nature and culture, more specifically in post-colonial landscapes marked by new conflicts, their works bring together popular and artistic elements in videos, performances and photographs.
