Rachel Harrison

Born in 1966, in New-York (New-York City, United States of America)

Since the 1990s, Rachel Harrison has been making sculptures in abstract forms from recovered materials and has emerged as one of the most remarkable sculptors of her generation.

Her colourful, expressive works are impregnated with different references to pop art, abstract expressionism, minimalism and assemblage. They represent a paradoxical, contradictory world.
