Enjoy activities specially designed for young audiences that highlight the building’s architecture and current exhibitions, to help you explore the Fondation and its artworks in fun, informative ways.

Storytelling tours, workshops, family events, entertaining digital applications, mini-activities to try at home – a great many options have been created for children to help them easily learn more about the Frank Gehry building and its exhibitions.

  • Baby Tour (0 to 18 months)

    Baby explorers

    How should you start getting babies interested in art? Gently and by using the senses, with the help of a Cultural Guide!

    The Fondation welcomes babies and their parents when the institution’s doors open for a warm, personal moment in the Rendez-Vous avec le Sport exhibition. Then prolong your time at the Fondation with relaxed visits of the other exhibitions with your family.

    STORYTELLING TOUR - "Ellsworth Kelly. Shapes and Colors, 1949-2015"

    Follow the Cultural Guide through the Ellsworth Kelly. Shapes and Colors, 1949-2015 exhibition. This journey is an invitation to observe shapes, colours, lines and space. Through their senses and emotions, children discover the artist’s singular body of work in entertaining and exciting ways.

  • Workshop 6-10 years old

    Cocolor Workshop - French

    Explore the Ellsworth Kelly. Shapes and Colors, 1949-2015 and Matisse: The Red Studio and observe each artist’s singular work.

    The painter Rosy Lamb developed her Cocolor exercises and games inspired by her lifelong studio practice of mixing oil paints. In this workshop she asks you: “Can you make Ellsworth Kelly’s rainbow using just three color pencils? How about matching the exact shade of red you see in Matisse’s Red Studio? Would you like to make the precise color which is your favorite so that everyone, at last, understands what you mean ?” Her answer: “Yes, you can!” During these exhibitions, you are invited to join the Fondation’s team of educators to learn how to mix colors intuitively, the way artists like Matisse and Kelly do.

    Children Contemplative tour - "Ellsworth Kelly. Shapes and Colors, 1949-2015"

    This sensory experience suitable for children and parents alike takes you into the Ellsworth Kelly. Shapes and Colors, 1949-2015 exhibition. A Fondation Cultural Guide and a meditation instructor encourage introspection, reflection and observation to fully experience the artist’s dazzling and monumental works.

  • Family Festival

    The Fondation Louis Vuitton, in partnership with the Jardin d’Acclimatation amusement park, is pleased to announce the fourth Family Festival! During this weekend of creativity and fun, the Fondation, the Frank Gehry building. Painting Four Hands exhibition and the Jardin become a playground for children and their families. Concerts, art workshops, live shows, hip-hop dance, storytelling walks and sports – a thousand ways to play, experiment, explore, try and taste new things.

    Remote Live Tours

    Online event

    The Remote Live Tour is an original, immersive experience you can enjoy from your own home, a real-time tour that includes live interaction with an expert guide and other online visitors in a fun and enlightening group outing to explore the Fondation’s architecture and current exhibition.

    An expert guide welcomes you live on a dedicated platform and takes you on a 360° tour of select works by Mark Rothko. You will travel through the exhibition as if you were physically in those rooms, from Mark Rothko's first figurative works to his latest series. You will enjoy a wholly personalised tour with our guide, who will be there to answer all your questions.

  • Game book

    For every exhibition, the Fondation Louis Vuitton and the French children’s magazine Georges create an original game book for kids ages 7 through 12!

  • Apprentice Architect

    The edutainment app, designed for ages 8 through 12, lets young visitors become apprentice architects and explore the secrets of how the Fondation was built.

  • Lucky Vibes

    This game is inspired by iconic mobile games from the 2010s: fly over the Fondation, avoid obstacles, catch notes, but don’t lose your tune! And do you have the skills to reach the last level?

Pop Book Pocket
