The Fondation’s Late Hours events are back, celebrating the opening of the “Monet – Mitchell” and "Open Space #10" exhibitions in immersive and musical way! Spend an evening in the company of Claude Monet and Joan Mitchell: find out how the masterpieces of these two artists came into being. Take a step into Open Space to discover the work of Lydia Ourahmane, enjoy the surprises in the DJ sets by artists felicita, Yawning Portal and Sega Bodega… And extend your experience with a workshop while eating gourmet sandwiches and colourful cocktails.

A few days before the opening of the “Monet Mitchell” exhibitions, take a mini tour with our art appreciation guides through the plant and aquatic landscapes of the artists Claude Monet and Joan Mitchell.

After exploring the paintings of Claude Monet and Joan Mitchell, draw inspiration from the two artists by creating your own sensory landscape!

MUSIC

As guests of the artist Lydia Ourahmane, these three artists collaborated with Ourahmane on her Tassili project. For Late Hours, they each give their insight into the “Monet – Mitchell” exhibitions.


7.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m. : Yawning Portal

Yawning Portal est le nom d’un collectif composé de deux collaborateurs musicaux entre Chicago et Londres. Ils ont sorti un premier EP "Heart and Earth" fin 2020 et ont travaillé avec l'artiste Lydia Ourahmane pour la partition de l'installation immersive "Notice the Direction of Fires" en 2021, et de son film "Tassili" en 2022.

8.30 p.m. - 10.30 p.m. : felicita

Felicita is an English-Polish artist and music producer with the well-known electronic pop collective record label PC Music. This year, she unveils a new body of music, combining electronic pop, visual production and a whole new live experience.

9.30 p.m. - 10.30 p.m. : Sega Bodega

Born in Ireland, raised in Glasgow and now based in London, the producer, performer and manager of his own label Sega Bodega – AKA Salvador Navarrete – has forged a reputation for himself as one of the most innovative, creative and pioneering minds in the UK.

OPEN SPACE #10 – LYDIA OURAHMANE, Tassili

In Gallery 8, Lydia Ourahmane presents her work entitled Tassili (2022). Shot on the border between Algeria and Libya, in Tassili n’Ajjer in central Sahara, this film captures a majestic landscape whose high-definition images are truly dizzying.

At the bar: an organic beer, a colorful cocktail and artisanal juices. Right by its side : Garni restaurant, renowned for its seasonal sandwiches and its good products: burrata cream, roast chicken with herbs, candied vegetables, homemade pickles...
