WEST TERRACE

Martin Mahieu and Carla Descazals experiment with pop melodies infused with electronic and noisy sounds. The duo now conjure up a sense of teenage melancholy, reminiscent of the margins of a large-squared notebook, to brighten up our rainy days spent gazing out of the train window. Following two albums, a film and a video game, their latest album, Boomboom Duplicata, has just been released on Illogique Musique.

Wander through the Galleries to explore half a century of his creative output: from the late 1920s, with his early "Cirque Calder" works that captivated the Parisian avant-garde, to his monumental sculptures that redefined the concept of public art in the 1960s and 1970s.

OPEN SPACE

LEVEL 2, GALLERY 8

Throughout the evening, a Cultural Guide will be on hand to explain the exhibition by the artist Armineh Negahdari, "What Color Is Your Sky Today?" The artist works within the intensity of a flow where the hand, guided by intuition and hesitation, precedes the idea: the line emerges, driven by a physical commitment that gives rise to images as powerful as they are fragile.
