Late Hours FLV Lab

- Date
- 5 April 2019 – 7pm
On the first Friday of every month, the Fondation presents special Late Hour events, a chance to see and experience the building, exhibitions and works in a whole new way.
For the third year running, April’s Late Hour event focuses on innovation, inviting the public to experiment with digital tools: prototypes of student-designed live games, virtual reality featuring Manet’s A Bar at the Folies Bergère, augmented reality in the galleries and an electronic music concert to close the evening.
Until 9.00 p.m.
FOUR LIVE-GAME PROTOTYPES
FLV LAB – Be the first to try out exciting digital projects!
REGISTRATION IN THE ENTRANCE HALL
Space is limited
Find Frank Gehry’s stolen sketches, dismantle traps laid by a mad scientist, stop the revolt of a work of art. The students from the DSAA Graphic Design and Multimedia Storytelling Master’s programme at the Lycée Jacques Prévert in Boulogne lead you on an unparalleled experience of the building through four augmented-reality, live-game prototypes – all of their own design – installed at the Fondation.
9 p.m.
CONCERT – THE FIELD
AUDITORIUM
Swedish composer Axel Willner – aka The Field – opens the door to the electronic world. He takes us on a dreamy sonic adventure of minimal techno through loops resembling ambient music and Krautrock. He merges space and time in the Fondation Auditorium to immerse his audience in an atmospheric and technological landscape.
Until 10.30 p.m.
A BAR AT THE FOLIES BERGERE
VIRTUAL-REALITY EXPERIENCE, LEVEL -1
This virtual-reality experience is a time machine that propels you into the Folies Bergère in the late 19th century. Suzon, the enigmatic waitress who stars in Edouard Manet’s painting, conceals mysteries that a dizzying waltz between the protagonists’ points of view will soon reveal.
Length: 5 min
Coproduction - ARTE France – IKO, 2018
Until 10.30 p.m.
TOLOOK
