Late Hours Jean-Michel Basquiat
On the first Friday of every month, the Fondation hosts its “Late Hours”, offering a new perspective on the building, the art works and the exhibitions. The evenings dedicated to Basquiat and Schiele are an exciting and entertaining celebration of these two major artists.
January’s “Late Hours” is a special family event that will see the Auditorium transformed into a hip-hop party for young and old alike. This participatory evening will introduce our junior visitors to the street art scene that provided a platform for Basquiat’s work.
7.30 p.m.-8.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.-10.30 p.m.
LA BOUM DES BOUMBOXEURS - HIP-HOP PARTY
“La Boum des Boumboxeurs” is created to dance and get together with family funky music and fun, ranging from Krs One, George Clinton to Jackson Five and Kriss Kross.
MC Da Titcha will deliver an atmospheric blend of flow and rap, and will be joined by his acolyte Bboy Nats, a break-dancer who thrills the public with his floor-spinning antics and dynamic performances. DJ Maclarnaque will oversee the party from her decks and array of gadgets, setting the tone – and the pace! – on the dance floor.
THROUGHOUT THE EVENING / 9.30 p.m.-10.30 p.m.
