The Fondation opens its doors for an uncommon Late Hours that reveals all its secrets to intrepid visitors!

Stroll through Frank Gehry’s building and collect clues to solve “The Mystery of the Lost Bolt”. With help from cultural guides, head for the Auditorium to try the VR Experience that lets you explore the Fondation’s hidden spaces and take flight on its glass sails. Make your way to the Hall to see the artist Milène Guermont in conversation with Christian Reyne, architect and project manager at the Fondation. Then carry on your evening with La Mona, a landmark on the French House and Disco scene. Between high-octane dance classes, enjoy a cocktail by La Cantine du marché and taste some seasonal creations concocted by Sezono!

From the terraces, set off on an architectural trail led by a cultural mediator. Learn how the Fondation was built, the materials that shaped it, and the bold vision behind its design. This is an encounter with architecture at its most daring!

THE MYSTERY OF THE LOST BOLT

Nonstop, leaving from the Hall

A bolt has disappeared from the building and you are our last hope to save the Fondation! Embark on a one-of-a-kind quest with our teams. Your missions, should you choose to accept them, are to uncover the architectural secrets of Frank Gehry’s building, follow the clues supplied by our cultural guides and solve the puzzles you encounter along the way.

VR EXPERIENCE: THE SAILBOAT IN THE CLOUDS

Departures every 15 minutes 

Step into another world and explore Frank Gehry’s architecture as never before! Head to the Auditorium, don your virtual reality headset and with guidance from a cultural mediator, embark on a unique, collective and immersive journey. First you are transformed into a giant, soaring high above the Fondation to take in its sweeping form from the skies. Then, returned to life size, you are carried over the building itself, rising to the crest of its glass sails to enjoy spectacular, otherwise inaccessible views.

For the Nocturne late-opening event, artist and engineer Milène Guermont presents her first monograph TOUCHEZ SVP, which encompasses 20 years of work. The evening also includes the presentation of her piece PYRAMIDION on the Fondation forecourt.

La Mona turns the Fondation’s Hall into a dance floor, lifting you up on a wave of Djing House and Disco beats from the ‘90s and beyond. Paying tribute to the club-born dances of the US –Voguing, Waacking, House Dance – join the legendary Mona Dance Class and get ready for one of the most original sessions around!
