PITCHFORK PARIS AND FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON WELCOME METRONOMY!

Just a few days from the kick-off of the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, one last group joins this 10th edition, but it isn’t just any group... It’s Metronomy! These Brits, who have regularly performed at the Zénith arenas, will conclude the festival on November 22nd in the exceptional setting of the Fondation Louis Vuitton Auditorium for an up-close show. The space is the figurehead of the building designed by Frank Gehry, and it opens onto the exterior, offering a view of the waterfall and the Grotto for a truly unique concert venue. Two weeks ago, Metronomy announced an upcoming seventh album with the track “It’s good to be back”. Small World will be released next February by Because Music. Pitchfork Paris and Fondation Louis Vuitton offer a sneak preview of the record with an exceptional concert in this setting which is just as exceptional.

The tickets are available on the Pichfork Music Festival Paris's website.

The Pitchfork Music Festival Paris

The evening will conclude a week-long festival throughout all of Paris. Seven unprecedented evening concerts will be held during this marathon week, from November 16th to 22nd. Discovery and eclecticism are the key words to this edition of the festival, which is undergoing transformation. Pitchfork Paris is making a new start for its tenth edition, investing in the emblematic music venues of Paris – the Salle Pleyel, the Gaité Lyrique, and the Bataclan – in addition to Fondation Louis Vuitton. On November 19th & 20th, Pitchfork Avant-Garde takes over to offer a discovery circuit at the heart of the Bastille district. No fewer than 17 artists will perform onstage each night at the Café de la Danse, Badaboum, Supersonic Records, PopUp, Disquaires and Supersonic. Moreover, the Badaboum will hold two after-parties on November 19th & 20th, featuring the very best of today’s electro scene (Denis Sulta, Josey Rebelle, Sofia Kourtesis, Marina Trench, and more).

The Fondation Louis Vuitton

Inaugurated in 2014, the Fondation Louis Vuitton celebrates arts on an international and national level. It promotes major exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, art works from the Collection as well as multidisciplinary events (concerts, performances etc.)

Located into the heart of Frank Gehry's building, the Auditorium hosts a programme reflecting the diversity and vitality of the world of music. It has welcomed musicians and artists of all disciplines from classical and contemporary repertoire, exceptionnal concerts and masterclasses. Electronic and pop music have also been represented with concerts from Kraftwerk, Kany West or Thylacine. The Metronomy concert for the Pitchfork Festival Paris is yet again a new highlight.
