How did rich families of Russian industrials such as the Morozovs and Shchukin dominate the cultural life of Moscow in the early 20th century, invent the concept of artistic philanthropy, and contribute to the international renown of modern French painters?

The artistic scandals of the time
An historical approach to the works in the Collection through the criticisms that were aimed at artistic movements (Fauvism, Impressionism, etc.) or artists (Matisse, Cézanne, etc.) of the time; or how the avant-gardes and pictorial revolutions led to turmoil and challenged the traditional aesthetic conventions.
