Promotion VI - Session of December

Every year since 2014, La Classe d'Excellence de Violoncelle takes place in the Auditorium of the Fondation. Created and directed by Gautier Capuçon, this project of transmission is designed to promote six young and talented cellists from around the world. 

From November 2019 to June 2020, Gautier Capuçon and the laureates of the 6th promotion will meet for 6 sessions of workshop : two public work sessions and a concert. Throughout the year, follow the evolution of these music prodigies, guided by Capuçon's expert advices. 

Season 2019/2020 will end with a closing concert, on Saturday 20 June 2020 at 8.30 p.m. 

The six laureates of the Promotion VI are : Gaeun Kim (South Korea), Jan Sekaci (Roumania), Ildikó Szabó (Hungary), Umut Sağlam (Turkey), Jeeln You (South Korea), Daniel Thorell (Sweden).
