The Fondation Louis Vuitton's aim is to promote artistic creation and support young talent. In keeping with this spirit of discovery, the Auditorium of the Fondation will present a cycle of recitals entitled "New Generation Piano", which will showcase emerging pianists, the stars of tomorrow, from France and around the world. This cycle of four recitals to take place during the 2014-2015 season will open on 19 December with Rémi Geniet, a 21-year-old French pianist who has enjoyed a remarkable start to his career.
Rémi Geniet was awarded the second prize of the Queen Elisabeth 2013 International Piano Competition in Belgium. He has already appeared as a guest soloist with prestigious orchestras such as those of St. Petersburg, Monte Carlo, Luxembourg and Warsaw, as well as the national orchestras of the Ukraine and Belgium. At the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Rémi Geniet's programme will explore the works of Bach, Schumann, Rachmaninoff and Ligeti.
