The painting of David Hockney has often made its way to the silver screen, as many filmmakers have focused their cameras on the artist.
In parallel with the David Hockney 25 exhibition, the Fondation offers dual perspectives through two documentaries that, for this special occasion, are being presented together in the Auditorium on Thursday, 12 June, and Thursday, 19 June.
Screenings are accessible with an exhibition ticket.
From the time indicated on the ticket, entry to the Fondation is estimated at 30 minutes maximum.

Mirage Illimité, 1998
Filmed in Los Angeles and England in the autumn of 1998, the film follows the artist’s creation of a series of paintings depicting the Grand Canyon, the culmination of research on the relationship to space and the landscape.
