In 2012, the Fondation commissioned the artist Ellsworth Kelly to create a series of works for the future Auditorium of the building, designed by architect Franck Gehry.
To decorate this place dedicated mainly to music, the artist imagines a series of monochrome panels, which revolve around a central work: Spectrum VIII.

Ellsworth Kelly. Shapes and Colors, 1949-2015
From May 4 to September 9, 2024, a landmark exhibition dedicated to The Red Studio (1911) by Henri Matisse (1869-1954) is presented at the same time as a new retrospective of the work of Ellsworth Kelly (1923-2015) featuring paintings, sculptures, photographs and drawings.
