En Galerie 11, l’installation de Roman Signer (né en 1938), Installation mit Kajaks, 2003, met en valeur le kayak, élément important de son vocabulaire plastique depuis la fin des années 1980. Habituellement associée à l’idée de mouvement et de vitesse, l’embarcation suspendue au plafond est privée de toute utilité mais acquière alors un statut de sculpture qui le magnifie.
