The Jardin d’Acclimatation and the Fondation Louis Vuitton are collaborating to host a weekend family festival for all ages in a celebration of art, nature, music, games and architecture.

There will be kids’ music sessions, a cosmopolitan party, creative and movement workshops, delicious food to try, creative concerts, a super-parade and fun tours over the three days of the festival. Starting on Friday evening, children will become the focus of attention, from the Auditorium in the Fondation to the Green Mirror area of the park, and from the terraces to the galleries – a joyous and creative ambiance for families to explore an exciting array of activities around the Fondation and the Jardin.

Elliot, a little character with a big heart, leads parents and children on a journey to discover the magical world of modern and contemporary painting. But when a colour-stealing wizard decides to paint the world grey, will the family help Elliot to get the colours back? Through stories and songs, this tour leads young and older visitors alike through the kingdom of colours, shapes and emotions. An interactive introduction to art!

HAPPY YOGI – YOGA FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN

GREEN MIRROR - JARDIN D’ACCLIMATATION

A calming space for parents and their children, whether they have experience of yoga or are simply curious to discover a fulfilling experience. Yoga started as a philosophy of life but has now spread to become a popular form of exercise. The lawns of the Green Mirror area will be covered with yoga mats for this activity session!

STREET DANCE

Street Dance refers to urban dance styles from the United States, danced to bass-heavy rhythms and hip-hop music. Energetic, fun and expressive, these classes will focus on improvisation, technique and choreographed sequences to get you in a street dance mood!

ECHOES – MUSICAL TALE BY LADYLIKE LILY

Echoes is a musical tale imagined by Orianne Marsilli, aka Ladylike Lily. The story is about an initiatory journey, Lily’s, a reckless little girl who decides to leave for a quest in search of missing colours. Her road will be full of meetings and learnings. From her small sound laboratory – voices, guitars, machines, keyboards and loop pedals – Ladylike Lily invites visitors to immerse themselves in an imaginary world brought to life by dreamy and electronic melodies. A sensory, experimental and colourful show with a reflection on women and ecology.

In the Jardin d’Acclimatation, the Playtronica collective will host a short interactive musical workshop, turning vegetables into musical instruments!

Playtronica is an international studio of engineers, musicians and designers dedicated to creating audio experiences that lead to a new relationship between music and touch. In a world when everything is becoming virtually tactile, Playtronica redefines a physical rapport with the objects that surround us in daily life, and turns them into instruments.

Discover art on every level! The Fondation’s guides will lead families on an exploration of modern and contemporary art works. They will introduce new perspectives from every direction - through kaleidoscopes, upside-down, works can be seen through every angle!

Using a card game, a gallery guide will help participants find the secrets and hidden objects in the work Where the slaves live by Adrian Villar Rojas.

A hundred small wooden blocks await you in the gallery, where children and their parents are invited to recreate Carl André’s work, Draco, aided by a guide.

The year is 1913 and Paris is celebrating the opening of the Fondation, the first flying museum in history, designed by the incredible architect Frank Gehry. This building can fly and float, taking culture to all parts of the world.

As a group of visitors embark on a guided tour, there is a loud noise... An explosion! A saboteur is on board. There's no time to wait for the police to arrive: the visitors, accompanied by their guide, must stop the villain. They must find him and destroy his terrible machine.

The Green Mirror area is filled with circles, and it’s up to you to get them moving. A vibrant hoop dance class encourages visitors to express their physicality and imagination using a hoop. This creative movement encourages co-ordination, agility and skill, tones muscle, and develops suppleness.

There’s a sandy beach on the outskirts of Paris, by Les Sablons metro station! The happy troupe of Victorine, with Kumisolo on the decks, Théo de Hond on guitar, Donald Abad creating visual effects and Marianne with her drawings, will transport you to the sands through the power of their tropical creations and green screens. It will feel like you’re on holiday! The event will include waves of happy dancing, clown fish, a gentle Jaws, mermaids who will pull your leg, a dance contest to get you in the flow, pirates of piracy, and more. Sing along with funny sea shanties and make a floral necklace on Cedar Island.

16PINEAPPLES PLAYTRONICA

16pineapples are Olga (OMMA), Milan and Vincent (Miel de Montagne), who share the same passion: playing pineapples. The group take a fresh approach to musical performance by using new technologies that can make any object interactive and playable. From the Playtronica studio, these artists have redefined music through touch and have created an exclusive live show based exclusively on pineapples. Don’t miss this visual, organic and dream-like performance!

Leading a new army of toy instruments, Speedfinger, Blowmaster and Bongostar continue their odyssey through rock music and invade the kingdoms of punk, rap, grunge, new wave and funk with their Rock’N’Toys! From “Bohemian Rhapsody” to "Beat It”, taking in “Smells Like a Teen Spirit” and “Walk This Way”, these three superheroes close the evening in the Jardin d’Acclimatation.
