The Jardin d’Acclimatation and the Fondation Louis Vuitton are collaborating to host a weekend family festival for all ages in a celebration of art, nature, music, games and architecture.

There will be kids’ music sessions, a cosmopolitan party, creative and movement workshops, delicious food to try, creative concerts, a super-parade and fun tours over the three days of the festival. Starting on Friday evening, children will become the focus of attention, from the Auditorium in the Fondation to the Green Mirror area of the park, and from the terraces to the galleries – a joyous and creative ambiance for families to explore an exciting array of activities around the Fondation and the Jardin.

Elliot, a little character with a big heart, leads parents and children on a journey to discover the magical world of modern and contemporary painting. But when a colour-stealing wizard decides to paint the world grey, will the family help Elliot to get the colours back? Through stories and songs, this tour leads young and older visitors alike through the kingdom of colours, shapes and emotions. An interactive introduction to art!

HAPPY YOGI – YOGA FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN

GREEN MIRROR - JARDIN D’ACCLIMATATION

A calming space for parents and their children, whether they have experience of yoga or are simply curious to discover a fulfilling experience. Yoga started as a philosophy of life but has now spread to become a popular form of exercise. The lawns of the Green Mirror area will be covered with yoga mats for this activity session!

GREEN MIRROR - JARDIN D’ACCLIMATATION

The Gong sounds against the Green Mirror… It’s time to introduce the family to the Chinese energy practice of Qi Gong. Through simple, fluid, conscious movements, parents and children will encourage their energies to circulate – and prepare their minds and bodies for an afternoon of activities!

Jesse Lucas allows his inspiration and imagination to flow freely through his modular synthesiser, creating evocative soundscapes for infants and parents within an intimate bubble of electronic loops and lighting effects. Inspired by the pared-back ambient recordings of Brian Eno, this dream world leads you gently through natural sounds (animal noises, raindrops, waves crashing on the beach...) accompanied by images projected onto a central pyramid.

Préparez-vous à parader ! Cet atelier vous permet de confectionner votre masque à colorier avant de participer à la Super-parade. Créez le spectacle en déambulant en famille autour du cortège des cinq créatures représentant les cinq sens et leur orchestre brésilien. Cette série de cinq costumes est née de la volonté de revisiter les masques et la figure traditionnelle et populaire de la parade en utilisant les technologies actuelles. Une application mobile, présentée lors de l’atelier, permet de créer des interactions avec les costumes et les masques.

The year is 1913 and Paris is celebrating the opening of the Fondation, the first flying museum in history, designed by the incredible architect Frank Gehry. This building can fly and float, taking culture to all parts of the world.

As a group of visitors embark on a guided tour, there is a loud noise... An explosion! A saboteur is on board the Fondation. There's no time to wait for the police to arrive: the visitors, accompanied by their guide, must stop the villain. They must find him and destroy his terrible machine.

HIDE AND SEEK

WEST TERRACE – FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON, START AT ANY TIME    

Using a special game of hide and seek, a gallery guide will help participants find the secrets and hidden objects in the work Where the slaves live by Adrian Villar Rojas.

Take a break in the middle of the day on the lawns of the Jardin d’Acclimatation in the company of the team from Super! Used to organise concerts for adult, the production company has accepted the challenge of relaxing the inquisitive ears of our youngest visitors using soothing electronic sounds.

A fun dance class to throw off your inhibitions and learn key routines performed by iconic artists, with DJs who aren’t afraid to get up and move! For this special family festival edition of Danser Danser, learn routines by Aya Nakamura (3.30pm) and Stromae (4.45pm)!
