PROGRAMME

MUSIC - AUDITORIUM

7 pm - 10.30 pm

CONCERTS

Internet culture, like Urban culture, tends to transform subcultures into popular culture at a dizzying pace, continually reinventing itself. The artists invited to this Late Hours event, exploring rap, soul and hyperpop, are hungry to hybridise musical genres, briskly dispensing with rules and trends. In the spirit of the Basquiat x Warhol. Painting 4 Hands exhibition, you can experience musical-visual wonders created by four hands – from performers to producers –, seeing and hearing the artists who are shaping tomorrow’s music scene!

8.00 p.m.-8.30 p.m.

47 MEOW

47 MEOW is a singer and rapper from Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine in the northern suburbs of Paris. Her music is laced with R&B, rap, soul, pop-rock and even jazz influences, a hybrid musical identity backed by a powerful personality that is both beguiling and dangerous. Her musical talents (piano and guitar) allow her to be involved in every developmental phase of her works, bringing her melodies and identity to each piece. She cares very little for convention, freely exploring different rhythms and styles, be they movements or spontaneous inspiration, refusing to be artistically pigeonholed. Currently, 47 is working discreetly, off-radar, on the sounds of the future, preparing to unveil a new chapter of her wild, abundant energy.

Kay the Prodigy

Kay the Prodigy is a young artist from Strasbourg who has been honing her talents since the age of 15 with LDE (Le Dernier Étage). Boasting a smooth flow and deep sound, Kay appropriates plugg and trap with disconcertingly confident ease. She captured the attention of the general public with the release of her first single, “Sentiments,” in August 2021. She followed this up with the release of “2NITE” featuring Eliott Mouses and Jetpacc, then “Weelokay” featuring Weelo, followed by “1 WAY SPACESHIP,” and lastly “Prestige” in November 2022. After putting out “Eastern Wind” in collaboration with Mezzo Millo in December 2022, she returned on 19 April 2023, again accompanied by Mezzo Millo, with “Eastern Wind Deluxe.”

Theodora

Theodora, who began her artistic journey two years ago, is originally from Rennes but now lives in the Seine-Saint-Denis department northeast of Paris. Ever accompanied by her brother, manager and composer Jeez Suave, the two artists take inspiration from musical multiplicity, going from rap to R&B and generously blending in electro/techno sounds. Their objective is to offer alternative music that brings people together.

SHORT TOURS

GALLERIES ON LEVELS -1, 1 AND 2

Every 30 minutes starting at the “Short Tours” meeting points

Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol produced around 160 canvases together in 1984-85, four-handed works or “painting 4 hands,” some of which were among the greatest of their respective careers. Explore the exhibition with enlightened help from cultural guides and see how the two painters worked enthusiastically within this intense collaboration. Their dialogue of shapes and styles addresses crucial subjects such as the Afro-American community’s integration and the consumer society and its icons through the eyes of Warhol.
