Late Hours "In Tune with the World" #3

- Date
- 6 July 2018 – 7pm
On the first Friday of every month, the Fondation hosts a special Late Hour event that offers a new perspective on the building, the artworks and the exhibitions.
The third and final Late Hour event associated with the In Tune with the World exhibition will take place outdoors, on the terraces, and will explore humans' relationship with their environment, both natural and imagined. The evening event will also unveil the project by Matt Copson, a new artist being showcased as part of the Open Space programme.
7 p.m.-10.30 p.m.
DJ SET – ETIENNE JAUMET & PAN EUROPEAN RECORDING
TERRACES
A fan of science fiction, contemporary music and improvisation, Etienne Jaumet knows everything there is to know about synthesisers. As half of the electronic duo Zombie Zombie, he composes organic, cosmic pieces that blend nature and alchemy.
The terraces of the Fondation will be the setting for a collaboration between this interstellar explorer and his compatriots Buvette and Richard Fenet from the Pan European Recording label. The label’s latest compilation, Voyage III – Beyond Darkness, offers up electronic ballads in the form of rainbows, mountains and the cosmos, composed with the purpose of saving the planet.
Buvette immerses himself in vast urban landscapes among the thousands of beings lost in their dreams and their desires for something different. His rhythmic, druggy sound derives from solo investigations and discoveries. Richard Fenet is newly signed to the Pan European Recording label. An explorer of Eastern music, he takes the listener to a world revisited through his sensibility as a traveller.
