Late Hours "Pitchfork Paris - Hors série"

On the first Friday of every month, the Fondation Louis Vuitton hosts its Late Hour events, offering a new perspective on the building, the art works and the exhibitions. For this edition, the renowned Pitchfork Festival is paying a visit, bringing its sounds to the terraces of the Fondation for a special evening of music.

NELSON BEER
Against a backdrop of architecture, dance and hybrid sounds, Nelson Beer creates music of varying influences, part mellow R&B, part futuristic pop, woven through with electronic sounds and vocoder effects. Like his identity, his music reveals multiple sources, from Lydia Lunch to Björk and John Cage. Born in Switzerland, Beer grew up in the United States, France and Britain, and reconciles the vestiges of an old world with the beginnings of a new one, in quest of a mutable and invasive sonic substance.

WEST TERRACE
Georgia is a multi-instrumentalist producer and songwriter from London. Her first, eponymous, album was released in August 2015. In the studio, she writes, plays, produces and records energetic music tinged with electro-pop and eighties house rhythms. With its hint of melancholy, her latest release, Work The Dancefloor, is a nostalgic exploration of the passion and frisson of feeling at one with yourself on the dancefloor.
