FLV LAB 1 - Mysteries, behind the scenes, exchanges and surprises
The very first FLV Lab features a number of interactive communications projects focused on the Fondation. Students are invited to imagine alternative and entertaining mediation and communications tools for younger audiences.
Each year, the FLV Lab invites students pursuing an Applied Arts master’s degree (DSAA) in graphic design and multimedia narration at the Lycée Jacques Prévert in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, to design and build prototypes of digital projects for or about the Frank Gehry building. Several digital-mediation projects by innovative companies are presented during the FLV Lab, as well.

Louis Vuitton Foundation App – Mystery Artwork, Surprise Artwork
FLV Lab presents the evolution of the ‘Fondation Louis Vuitton’ visitor app, with the integration of IBeacon geolocation technology, allowing each visitor to discover their ‘mystery artwork’ of the moment. This new feature was temporarily introduced in the FLV app between 2017 and 2019.

"Lucky Vibes", the Foundation's interactive musical mobile game, and its mascot Tubaloon, were unveiled for the first time at an edition of FLV Lab. Rather than a simple reward, winning the game provides an opportunity for mediation. Upon completion, each successful level unlocked not only an enriching anecdote related to the Foundation's universe, but also original comic strips created by FLV Lab students, which appeared to punctuate these moments of success. The application is still available, offering a fun and educational way to explore the Foundation.
