Since 2017, the Fondation Louis Vuitton has been transforming into a multimedia laboratory, where visitors are invited to experiment with prototypes and engage with their creators to collectively imagine the cultural tools of tomorrow.

Each year, the FLV Lab invites students pursuing an Applied Arts master’s degree (DSAA) in graphic design and multimedia narration at the Lycée Jacques Prévert in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, to design and build prototypes of digital projects for or about the Frank Gehry building. Several digital-mediation projects by innovative companies are presented during the FLV Lab, as well.

The FLV Lab also annually invites several partners to come up with unique ways to showcase the Fondation’s permanent works and architecture, along with innovative alternatives that could enhance the visitor experience.
